You may be thinking it’s the Year of the Snake, but at the recent High Point furniture market, it was still the Year of the Dragon. The same dragon fabric (which was first spotted by The Trend Curve at Circa-1801 at the Showtime textiles market in June of this year) showed up in myriad showrooms, and it looked great in every color variation. It is part of a still-growing Asian trend that is much more colorful than yesterday’s Zen approach.
