Time for Plaid?

What were the most-requested patterns at Brentwood? Plaids. What’s in the pattern forecast at Circa 1801? Updated plaids.

While there weren’t many new plaids shown at December’s Showtime textiles market, there was nevertheless an undercurrent of excitement about their future. Some followed a typical format, but were updated with color. Others used cord embroidery or made a metallic statement to made them feel innovative. A few took on unexpected abstract personalities, while the most directional plaids felt deconstructed and dystopian. And they all looked great.
