COLOR
- Radiant Orchid was hyped and highlighted throughout the show
- Neutrals meant a lot
- Navy paired with off-white
- Crisp color on neutral backgrounds signatured indoor/outdoor rugs
- Cool blues and warm greens paired with naturals
- This marked a resurgence of warmth for green
- Sari-silk brights combined with other brights
MATERIALS AND TEXTURES
- Re-purposing yarn, scraps, remnants shifted into high gear
- Texture was omnipresent—in yarns, weaves and constructions
- Flat weaves bumped up with recycled denim, leather strips and rough-spun jute
- Modified Oushak looks showed up in jute-pile constructions
- Silk, bamboo, banana silk, rayon, viscose popped up as wool accents
- Linen Soumaks came with chenille highlights
DESIGN DIRECTION
- Hand-drawn looks softened geometrics and made florals more casual
- Block and wood prints were inspirational
- Stenciled effects advanced
- Doodles became patterns
- Scandinavian simplicity influenced motifs
- Get ready for a diagonal infusion
