- Denim-influenced blues saturated the market
- They often stepped in for aqua, which declined
- Greens had more visibility
- So did pastel values

- Mixed-media combinations got more creative
- Round, tubular forms updated metal
- Open weaves made seating look even more casual
- Twisted weaves showed up more often
- Gloss/matte contrast meant more
- Gold metallic continued to grow

- Shape was in play more than ever
- Newest direction: sharp angles
- They came along with a surge for true contemporary style
- Swivel showed up for the first time on a chaise
- Dual-chaise configurations advanced
- Fire was unstoppable
