- Crackle finishes were great
- So was anything with a galvanized-metal look
- Weathered and worn looks made wood trend right
- Container gardens continued to advance
- Companies were creating tropical arrangements with everything but orchids
- Hydrangeas did not lose their popularity
- Roses, however, backed off again
