– Black-and-white duos were out in force
– That said, black was key on its own
– Denim-influenced blues meant more
– Mixed brights (pink, red, orange, yellow) led permanent floral design
– Gold advanced in the metallic realm
– Copper metallic emerged
MATERIALS AND DETAILS
– Burlap, while strong, started giving way to cotton
– Driftwood had many more uses
– Painted and decorated Styrofoam meant more
– Flock hinted at a larger role for next time
– Lace showed up more often
– Buttons made a return
PATTERNS AND MOTIFS
– Ditsy florals surged
– So did 70’s-inspired Mod florals
– Crosses were everywhere
– Bees kept building
– Overtly religious sayings pushed sentiments in a new direction
– Lambs mean more for spring/Easter than they have in years
