Notable trends:
COLOR
– Blue came on strong from pale Ice to subtle Glacier to deep Indigo
– Soft shades of Teal were hot, especially paired with Taupe
– Greens went from grayed Teal to silvery Spring, inspired by succulents and desert fauna
– Delicate or flirty, Pink was barely there or a Blue-cast mid-tone
– Clay got Redder and richer in deep tones
– Matte Gray came back, mixed with taxi Yellow and stainless steel in kitchen
– Classic White was on steroids in glossy and subtle tone-on-tone variations
– Look for barely neutral Putty skin tones, with a hint of Lavender
– Honey and blond led lighter furniture finishes
MATERIALS & TEXTURES
– Rubbed oak-wood grain on cabinetry combined with poured concrete walls
– Recycled glass transformed into ice-cube shapes or rough, granulated surfaces
– Zinc countertops had vintage allure
– Super graphic customized images appeared on wall tile
– Draped and gently pleated effects came in leather, resin, foam and metal
– Distressed and tie-dye looks appeared in leather and textiles
– Wrinkled and crushed effects were applied to leather, paper, and metal
PATTERN AND MOTIFS
– Multicolored woven plaid highlighted outdoor furniture
– Dreamy, atmospheric moonscapes translated into jacquards and prints
– Camouflage influences with stenciled letters, stitching, zippers, and raw edges emerged
– Collages assembled from newspaper and recycled materials looked directional
– Mini Liberty-of-London-inspired flowers kept popping up
– Fish, turtles and reptiles were repeated motifs
