Greenbuild is the world's largest conference and expo dedicated to green building. It is a forum for industry leaders, experts and frontline professionals, who are dedicated to sustainable building in their everyday work.
This year's show brought together most of the major elements in verifiable residential sustainability in a way that has not been matched so far. LivingHome—the 1550 square-foot, three bedroom, two bath fully decorated (even landscaped!) sustainable modular home shown at Greenbuild—was a real winner. It wasn't overdone, but was perfect for the average consumer. Several consumers, who took the house tour along with Editorial Correspondent Marilyn Nason, said the home looked comfy, casual and complete enough to, "want to move right in."
Can you tell that this home is sustainable?
