Green is a Rising Star

November 19, 2021 By Michelle Lamb -

Wesley Hall’s range of greens

When it comes to color families, green’s star is rising.

Under the spell of a biophilia trend, greens are going lush and rich. And although select cool types can still be found, the best new versions are leaning toward warmth. Names like olive and moss keep repeating when makers describe these earthy colors. Emerald is also on-hand, along with bottle-inspired shades. Some greens feel conservative, while others have a bit of an edge, going all the way to apple or even chartreuse.

Using a single, solid green is certainly directional. Teaming up two greens, whether in similar or contrasting values, doubles the trend.

Look below for a gallery of on-trend greens. All images were snapped by The Trend Curve team in showrooms during last month’s High Point furniture market.
