Hands down, the most exquisite tabletop presentation at the Maison & Objet trade fair in Paris was seen at Legle Legrande Lebouc. The feature was a black table of over 20 feet in length, which was styled by Vietnamese designer Axel Huynh.
This dramatic, turned-leg table was layered with the designer’s porcelain dinnerware collections. Some of them used glass cake stands as pedestals to create a fascinating landscape of different heights. Throughout the table, gorgeous fresh anemones, roses and orchids ensured that this display provided some of the tastiest tabletop eye candy at the Maison & Objet fair. Have a look below.
- Art Deco’s graphic style was still building.
- Eastern accents in a painterly style with fanciful anemones.
- Striated effects looked so modern, as did the trend-right palette.
- Huynh took a vivid approach to stone looks.
