It’s a silent source of honor and excitement that we can rarely share with anyone. That’s because our contributions are always behind the scenes. But we still feel delighted whenever one of us is out at retail and we see a product that’s unmistakably linked to our annual Christmas color-and-trend forecast: ‘Tis The Season™.
Like all good things, these quiet celebrations take time. In fact, fully two years will typically pass between The Trend Curve’s color and trend forecasts and what actually takes form.
For instance, we are forecasting mid-century Happy Faces and flower-power motifs for Christmas ornaments and Holiday décor. We see traditional yuletide reds being nudged aside by an innovative array of pinks. The nearly forgotten Alpine Chalet will reemerge to capture a sporty, yet cozy look customers are sure to embrace. And blue-green water, along with beach beige will give rise to an unexpected Holiday palette with our oceanic Christmastide trend.

Through ‘Tis The Season™ and all of our color-and-trend forecasts, we pair with our customers to do truly important work: we not only keep everyday décor from getting stale, but we also inspire the palettes and styles that will be present for some of the most significant days in consumers’ lives.
